Our History
We started meeting in January 2002 with 6 people and have grown to over 25 in regular attendance. Our services are held in the back room of a garage 6 miles out of town at the Antonetti home. This room fit the rugged, outdoor look of the UP, right down to the wood stove and mounted deer heads! The family’s home was used for the nursery, the children’s Bible class, and restroom needs.
November 1, 2005 we started renting space from Miss Donna's Dance Studio on the corner of Balsam Street and Pyle Drive in Kingsford, MI (directions are here). We now have room to seat about 60 people comfortably with separate rooms for the children's Bible class and a nursery. We schedule pot-luck fellowship meals once a month and encourage everyone to bring visitors!
