Sunday Worship

Join us for worship assemblies on Sunday! We meet in the afternoon because our preacher, Dave Grant, teaches at the Escanaba church of Christ in the morning and has to drive an hour to get here to help us out until we find a preacher to come here full time. Our afternoon begins with Bible classes for all ages at 2:00 PM. At 3:00 PM, we join together in singing, praise and prayer. Dave Grant presents a lesson from God's Word and we celebrate the Lord's Supper every Sunday! You might like to read Dave's sermon on "Why We Worship on Sunday."

God gave each of us a voice to sing praises to Him in worship, One of the first things our guests notice is that we have no instrumental music such as pianos or organs. We find no New Testament scripture to authorize the use of instruments other than the heart.

Our collection is given on Sunday. We decide what we should give on our own. The scriptures teach us that we are to give according to our income.

The Lord's Supper is held every first day of the week. We remember the Lord in the way he directed. We have an open communion and do not restrict anyone from participating. Those who choose to participate should be sure to recognize that the bread is the representation of Christ's body and the fruit of the vine, His blood. Dave has a wonderful sermon on the Lord's Supper.

       Thursday Bible Study

We stress Bible Study and have several courses that can be taken in the privacy of you home. The first course is a series of eight lessons. We also have more intensive studies with thirty lessons each. If you need a Bible, we offer a hard-cover New International Version Bible free of charge.

We meet on Thursday evenings at 6:00 for Bible Study at the Larson home. This is a time for open discussion of what God's Word says, and how it is interpreted. These studies are informal and encourage family growth and spiritual development. There are several other opportunities for studies throughout the week. If you're interested in joining us, please call 906-779-9477 for directions.

Let the Bible Speak TV Program

We mention this because our preacher, Dave Grant is the host of this TV program and we encourage everyone in the listening area to tune in to WLUC-TV6!

Broadcasting the Good News of Jesus Christ on WLUC-TV6 since 1976!

Join us every Sunday morning at 10:30 EST as we LET THE BIBLE SPEAK. We open our Bibles together for thirty minutes of study from God's Word! Host Dave Grant is currently teaching an OldTestament overview from the perspective of the Cross. There is a description of the HISTORY of the TV Program that explains the early days in 1976. The program started as BIBLE QUESTIONS/BIBLE ANSWERS.

From time to time, an article or sermon will be featured on our TV Program. Dave and Les Grant have used many outlines and articles in preparing their lessons for TV. If you would like to view one or more of these outlines, go to our ARTICLES AND SERMONS page.

We offer an eight-lesson Bible Correspondence Course (BCC) to interested individuals. The BCC is an overview of the Bible and is designed for the beginning Bible student. There is no charge for these lessons. If you would like to take the course, just e-mail us your name and mailing address and request the BIBLE COURSE. Upon completion of this introductory course, we have other courses available in increasing levels of difficulty. All of our materials are offered free of charge.

Les Grant, founder of LET THE BIBLE SPEAK, has prepared articles and lessons for distribution to our viewing audience. Les has completed two in-depth STUDY GUIDES that are now available!

  • "Why Is God Mad At the World?" A Study of the Book of Romans by Les Grant
  • "Revelation: A Study Guide" by Les Grant
If you would like to receive a copy of one or more of these STUDY GUIDES, please send $5.00 + $2.00 shipping/handling per copy. Mail your check to:
